Fall is around the corner

Fall is just around the corner.  Many of us are waiting anxiously for the pumpkins, autumn leaves and the sites and smells that autumn brings.  Yes, even Santa waits for this time, he said for him it is the calm before the storm and he enjoys painting pumpkins and enjoying  fall just like the rest of us!  We had the pleasure of chatting with the Jolly Ole Elf himself a few years ago on a visit up North!   I had my photo taken with him, but I will spare you!

I did a bit of decorating around my home and will share a few photos of what I have done.  The dining room day and night and a few photos of my sideboard in the kitchen.  I have  done a bit more in other rooms and I will share those after I take some photos.  I  will be adding  more Halloween things later on.  I could not wait to add some of the Halloween things on the sideboard!   I love the little sampler on the shelf, it reads:

We gather together

to watch the sky

as the Harvest Moon goes dancing by.

There is a little cat and some pumpkins with vines.
