Looking Ahead

This morning when I looked outside I saw that Jack Frost had paid a visit, there was frost on the pumpkins, on the grass, the flowers, the porch, on everything and the bird bath water was frozen!

Now, I love fall, I love the crispness of the air, the leaves changing colors and the way they float from the branches softly to the grown. I love the upcoming Holidays, but on January 2nd I feel a bit let down and anxious for Spring to arrive. I do not wish for my life to go flying by, it seems to be doing that on its own lately; I think we all need something to look forward to, something to plan and if it is God's will I hope that maybe next winter I will be able to take a cruise, it is something I have always wanted to do.

My nephew has started a business booking cruises on line for weary travelers so he will be the one I will turn to when I am ready to take the plunge, well not really a plunge, I do not wish to land in the ocean, but take my first cruise, a short one, to get my feet wet (another pun?. . .I could go on and on!) and after that who knows.

So, for now I will sit and dream of the day that I will take my first cruise.

I have also put his website on my sidebar.
